- Hikking in Sierra Nevada (Easy) – Follow the old goatherd trails and through farmlands and encounter picturesque white-washed villages, deep gorges, and Mediterranean orchards. Best from December to June;
- Ribeira Sacra - Galicia (Easy to Moderate) – This is one of Spain’s secret. It’s a land of ancient monasteries with scenic trails, crossing vineyards and beautiful oak and chestnut forests and passing by the edge of the gorges. Expect spectacular views most of the time. Best in spring and autumn;
- Sierra de Guadarrama (Moderate to Strenuous) – Close to Madrid, it is an unexpected hiker’s paradise, described by Ernest Hemingway in his famous novel “For Whom the Bell Tolls”. It offers amazing natural views and cultural sites like the Monastery of Escorial and the Royal Palace and Gardens of La Granja. Best from April to November;
- Calderas of La Palma (Moderate to Strenuous) - Land of stunning calderas, deep gorges, laurel forests, dramatic cliffs and rugged coastline. Visit the Caldera de Taburiente National Park, Pico Bejenado or the Lunar landscapes from above the clouds. All year round.
